Support Group Meeting Next Thursday...Request!!

Hey everyone,

I am so looking forward to the meeting next week.  Was wondering if anyone would like to get together before the meeting for a little meet and greet kinda thing.  I think it would be alot of fun.

Also, I am wondering if anyone has any clothes they are looking to give away or something.  I am almost down to my birthday suit hahahaha!!!  Not real sure but I think I need some size 18, 20, or 22.  Go**** has been forever sense I have wondered what size clothes I ware LOL.  I would just always look for the biggest.  Even panties and those are something you can not go and try on before u buy and mine are falling off me LOL.  I always just went to the just my size and get the biggest they had.  Now I am not sure but will figure it out LOL.  Even my bras no longer fit I have one sports bra so guess I will just keep washing it and wearing it for now LOL.

I would like to but I already made plans to go by my friends house that had her baby a few months ago and pick up some of her clothes for me.

I would love to meet, unfortunately, I wont be there this time.  I have an advisory council meeting for this new job I am taking, and since this is the first time I will have met them, I feel like I need to be there.  Darn job, taking me away from my WLS buddies. 

Most of the time, though, Mike and I do get there early enough to hang out, so maybe next month!!!

Hi!   I am relatively new to the "group."  I had lap band surgery on 8/4/08 and looking forward to getting to the Losers Bench.  What Support Group meeting are you referring to?  Where is it held?  What day?  ETC.  I can see that I am going to need (and am already getting) lots of support and places to go with questions such as this Message Board.  I would appreciate responses from any and all if there are more than one support group that meets - I live in Vilonia and would like to find one close to me.  Thanks a bunch!

Hi Gwen,

My name is Jan I will try to answer your questions.  Every month there is a support group meeting in Little Rock at the Baptist Hospital in the Cafeteria around 6pm I believe (someone correct me if I am wrong).  This months if next Thursday Aug 14th.  Someone usually post when it gets close so everyone will know and can come if they want to.

It is an awsome way to meet everyone and put those faces to the words LOL.  We hope you can make it to this months.  I live in Morrilton so if you need a ride or anything just let me know.

Also, next month Sept.  we will not be having one because that is the month for the Walk From Obesity so hopefully we will all be there.
