great question and good way to get to know each other a little better

I have 3 children, cant really call them children anymore!
Matthew Kyle, (26) Matthew was just because I liked it and middle name after my DH stepfather.
Angela Lynn (19)  first name after a girl that used to work with my DH and he thought she was a a real sweetheart and just liked the name, middle name because we thought it sounded good with Angela.
Rachel Samantha (18) our son had a girl friend in kindergarten that was named Rachel and she was a real pretty sweet little girl, middle name I picked out because I thought it was nice and a little different and I get to call her Sammy!!

We 2 four legged little ones: our pom-a-poo Mischa Barkin is named after Mischa Barton from the OC (daughter named her) and our shih tzu is named Cocoa Baby and I'm not sure why!

Ah they are always your baby!  I call mine Mr. Baby, because he has always been my little mister and he will always be my baby, I do not call him Mr. Baby if it might embarrass him, lol.

I have one son and I knew since I was a little girl I would have a boy, I was the oldest of 4 girls!  I had a great uncle on my dad's side and his name was Jake, I adored him and his wife and I had the same birthday and they always seemed so fond of me.  His middle name is Ross after his father because of Chief John Ross of the Cherokee Nation.  My ex husband was from Tulsa and his grandmother my sons great grandmother was full blood Cherokee.  So my son has his Cherokee Card and IBD Card.  So Jacob Ross he was.  Now I never got to have a girl and always wanted one and would have named her Coe Elizabeth.  The Coe is a lady who was friends with my mother in law and was originally from Little Rock AR and her name was Coe McGinley, she is so pretty and sweet and I always thought it would be fun to have a little girl named Co Co!  The Elizabeth is my middle name and my mothers.  As for the dog he is a Corgi and his name is Buddy Lander and he belongs to my son.

LOL I told hubby about this thread and he said he thought of another name for a daughter if we was to ever have one (by some great miracle that is). He wanted to name her Stephanie Lynn, Stephanie is the female version for Steven/Stephen and that is hubby's middle name and my middle name is Lynn so she would have both our middle names and I agreed with him.

OK, I have a daughter Amber Michelle, age 28,  named after a little girl I used to play with as a kid.
Lee Edward, age 24 named after both of my grandfathers'.
William LUKE, age 17, first name is after his father and LUKE is after Luke Skywalker.  Believe it or not.  (we couldnt think of a middle name for Luke..now Luke William sounds ok to me)

For the furry babies, Kitty Claws of Death (self explanatory)  Skye-part wolf/part alaskan huskey and Hershey Pie a mixed doggie we got from the Humane Society

Not to pry, but I don't see how you could possibly have a 28 year old!! You either started in middle school (and this would be a moment to "open mouth, insert foot" if you did and I'll feel like a big jerk) or you've aged quite gracefully.

I'm still pondering your artistic talents. Can you post some pics on your profile and will you work for others? (christmas is coming up and I like to give unique gifts)

Shawna, You're my new best friend!  I was young when I had Amber but not in Jr. High.  I was 19 when I had her.  I'll be happy to post some of my art on my profile.  I need to scan some pictures..then I'll let you know.  I would be very happy to help you with any ideas you may have.

That's really cool Steve.  I don't know about your Amber, but if she's anything like mine, she's a totally awesome person.  I did discover after naming her, that Amber means Immortal.
