1st NSV!!!!

I have been weighing every day (some days 2-3 times)nad it has quit moving. I am 2 1/2 weeks out from being banded, but last night my middle daughter and I decided it was time to measure ( I had measured the night before starting preop diet) so drumroll!!!!!! I have lost 37 inches in 4 weeks!!!! I am so pumped today, I can hardly stand myself!

Wow!!!!  That's amazing! 

Now, put the scale away. Have someone hide it if you must. Please take this from someone who has been there, done that and have the tee shirt to prove it. Right now the scale is NOT your friend, actually, it's counter productive for you to worry about it since you haven't even had your first fill. It will make you

I'm really glad you measured yourself before your surgery. That tape measurer will come in handy when stalls happen later down the line. Lots of times you'll be losing inches (as you can see now) and not be  losing weight.

That is just way too cool!!!  I know what you mean about the scale though.  I'm the same way.  I also finally got the tape measure out the other day.  I'm going to start tracking my measurements too.
