So, what are you waiting for???

The  national headquarters sends me e-mail alerts whenever someone signs up to participate in the Walk..........there are ony THREE, and one is ME!!! 

Come on you guys, this is a big deal!  This is the organization who develops and researches surgies and other ways for us to get healthy.


I know it's so stinking hot that it's hard to think about walking, but if you wait to register until the day of the walk, you might not be able to get one of our lovely, must have, tee shirts  LOL 

After signing up, I sent out 33 e-mails to friends requesting donations. An old boyfriend (hehehe) donated $100!  Then, I got two $25 donations from two other firends. It's like shooting fish in a barrel.

We're still looking for Sponsors, so if you know a business who might want to participate, please let me know.

Well I talked to Anne, the nutritionist, about it and she seemed very interested. If you want to send some stuff down I'll take it up to their office next week. Hopefully we'll be there with Johnny next week for his pre-surgery appointment! I'll PM you my address.

In a word, or 2, what Shawna said!!!!  This dang Denver trip is sucking me dry, they pay for plane ticket and rooms, I pay for everything else up front, and get reimbursed!!!

Gonna see if I can do it this week, but I may have to wait till Sept. 1.  Hope not!!

You know Im so gonna be there, thats the day after my birthday, what a better way to celebrate than walking w/all my OH buddies.

I really wanted to sign up but the leave calender is totally filled that day.  I put in for the day off..but I'm 3rd on the list..that means at least 4 people have to cancel their vacation time for me to get off that day..ugh!  Kelley

Bummer, Dudette!

No, really, it's a shame!  We were looking forward to ALL of us getting together. But wait....that creed goes: rain, sleet, snow, but does it say anything about US???  Let's look at the fine print there and see if there's a loophole??

Well, I wouldn't wish anyone ill will, but sure hope they all change their minds about being off that day.

I just wish the postal service was like real people and have no deliveries on saturdays!  If there's anything I can do, I will..because I really want to be in the walk with you guys!
