Excited! (and new avatar)

I have a feeling of excitement inside that I haven't had in a long time....Since my first visit with Dr. Baker I have lost 29 pounds!  Wow...I can tell my clothes are feeling a little looser.  I am starting to feel better and I can begin the soft diet tomorrow!!  yippeeeeeee!!!!   The best part is my knees are not hurting like before....I still have the fibromyalgia pain but, praise God, my knees and feet definitely feel better!!  I used to dread getting up after sitting for awhile because it hurt so badly but now...no problem!  yeaaaa!!!!! 

Way to go!  Your pic looks great!!  I can identify with you on the pain.  Even though I don't have to walk hunched over or holding onto a wall I still have a lot of pain still in my shoulders and back.  I think the 400 pounds I carried for so long just took its toll on my bones and muscles.

(You might not want to restart the diet sodas.  There are MANY reasons to avoid them all together - regardless of WLS.  For your health and well-being, please reconsider that.)

Thank you!  I am really excited....This is going to be an interesting journey I can tell!  It's just so nice to be able to walk better!!!  But I don't drink diet soft drinks so that must have been for someone else??

Congratulations!  You look terrific...I know you will be so happy to be past the liquids.  I'm like you in that my knees don't hurt anymore..so nice to be able to just get up or sit down..easy.
You are doing wonderfully..keep up the good work!
