Ok, we all know its hot as heck outdoors, (thanks AB for that link, now I check it every day!!!)  And with it being hot, we are all drinking like fish, so I have to ask,
Whats your Favorite summer drink??

My new favorite drink is watermelon cherry kool-aid sweetened w/splenda!!!  OH MY GOSH, I drank like a gallon of that stuff yesterday, going back to the store today, I think Im gonna buy a whole box of that flavor before it goes off sale!!!

So, what are you drinking this summer??

My answer is not going to be very interesting or glam!

My favorite summer drink is water.  I can keep it in my car all day long.  I don't have to worry about spilling mix on myself.  It tastes the same warm or cold.  I drink it easily (and sometimes too quickly).  I do enjoy hot skim milk in the mornings when the house is cold.  But the rest of the day (other than my 1 fiber drink mix) .... it's plain old water.

This is a good question. I have no favorite drink. I have a hard time getting my fluids in. So I will be reading this to see what other ideas are out there. The watemelon cherry kool-aid sounds good. I never thought of sweeten the kool aid that way. I drink a little of the wal-mart brand ( crystal light) burt they are pretty sweet and I don't care much for them. But do drink a little.
I will try the kool aide and sweeten it my self.
Thanks for the idea.

My favorite summertime drink is one that my dear wife makes for me when I've been good. (Not very often)   She juices three each lemons, limes, and oranges.  Tnen adds water and equal and makes the most refreshing citrus juice you ever tasted.  Very refreshing after being out in the heat.

Water with a splash of bottled lemon juice is about all I drink.  Don't really like soda.  About once a day, might have a glass of Arizona Diet Green Tea or Crystal Lite Lemonade.  Michael

Celestrial Seasonings Red Zinger herbal tea with splenda.  Brewed in the icebox . . . er refrigerator (lol I'm showing my upbringing and my age lol), with filtered water of course.  I have been spoiled by my Pur filter and can't drink tap water without it.

And as a treat . . . orange-aid.  One part low acid orange juice to three parts water and a little splenda.

Now I am thirsty. lol

Arizona sf Peach Tea.  I actually have my DH drinking it too..instead of his dreaded Pepsi's!(Before my surgery I never liked any tea, or water..for that matter,  I only loved diet coke w/splenda)  Now I don't miss soda's at all.  I'm going to have to hunt tha****ermelon-cherry koolaid though...sounds great.

I mostly just drink water. I keep filtered water in bottles so that I can grab and take it with me. It seems like Im always filtering water these days.
I do love crystal light lemonade and the cherry flavor and iced tea..
