it is more than hot out! http://www.4029tv.com/wxmap/4540107/detail.html

I am sleeping, watching movies, and eating prunes and nuts so the pain meds dont stop me up!

I am however feeling like an old person with this stuck at home schedule, lol.

Went to the Farmers Market in the back seat of moms car with my foot propped up and then to Walgreens for a quick run, been home ever since.

Now she brought me some dinner, carrots, cabbage, okra and some ham.

The Color Purple is coming on so that should keep me busy too.

I worked today.....then came home..got cleaned up..and took the little kids(stepson and stepdaughter ages 8&9) to see WALL E.  I liked the movie...very cute, and good message.

I spent all day long doing round 1 of school clothes shopping for my kids.  Actually, all I got was 1 shirt for my son, so I haven't REALLY started for him yet.  Today was mostly my daughter, but she did get a little bit.  So it was a productive day.

Now I'm finally sitting down for the night (if you can count this few minutes as "sitting down" for the night) and I'm wondering if the house is going to blow away with this rain storm outside.  I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow.

Let's see. I worked until 6:00 last night, bought dinner at Kroger. Pork loin, orzo and green beans almondine. Very nice dinner for $10 and there's still a slice and a half of meat leftover. Spent the rest of the evening trying to make the labels for the next round of Walk brochures. I'm not stupid with it comes to this computer stuff, really! But....this Windows Vista computer is a pile of crap.  I've run test copies of the labels and it will only print one side of the sheet then half of the words on the second side. I have to get this figured out so I can go to Office Depot, have them print off the labels on their copier when I buy them (they do this for free, nice since I don't have to use my ink).  I feel like Janoice's avitar with the head banging onto the computer. It's so frustrating since before I spent all this $$$ on this thing I could sit down and make any form, letterhead, label or whatever I wanted.

Then I'll go grocery shopping and come home, clean house quickly to get ready for the kids to come over . After we eat we'll get going on the brochures and posters.  I'm sure they'll be THRILLED to spend the evening helping me with all this, but oh well, if they want to eat, they're gonna help   LOL

Canning, canning, and more canning.  Canned tomatoes yesterday.  Made spaghetti sauce and hot salsa all afternoon.  Today I'm doing blackberry and purple hull jelly and canning the leftover jalapeno and cherry peppers.  Oh, and I have a mess of purple hull peas to can after that.

O. K., I'm easy.  Since we're neighbors anyway, I'll share.  Do you like the hot or mild salsa?
