Home from surgery and doing well so far!!!!

Well we got there at 5:00 am this morning and I was home in my reclining chair at 10am, slept until about 2:00 and been having some water and popsicles and even gotten myself in the bathroom ok.  I am not in severe pain but have this lovely boot slowin me down!  6 weeks to go, lol.

A reclining chair = a girls best friend (at least after any surgery - well may be not a posterior one.)

I feel for you in that boot.  I was horrified of having to go into one with my foot - but thank goodness I avoided that.

So I am off work this week and no driving or exercise for 6 weeks, yesterday was tough, I ended up throwing up all day, finally quit trying to get anything in last night, put in a phenergan suppository and just now woke up, took two sips of some tea and I am full.  I gotta try a bath today, I think that in itself is going to wear me out!  But I am starting to stink, yuck! lol
