Blood Pressure
Out of the blue I took my blood pressure today 3 different times and everytime it was 93/62, 91/61, and 92/63. I wonder if I should be concerned? Dr. Baker told me to only take 1/2 of my BP pills when I left the hospital, and that's what I've been doing. I think tomorrow I won't even take it and see if it goes up. That might be why I feel so yucky, tired ,and miserable the past few days.
You may want to call the doc on that one. They can probably page him if he takes his own call and he can call you at home. I woke my doctor up bright and early on the Saturday after my surgery to see if it was normal for my outer left thigh to be numb. Note: It's STILL numb, but the area of numbness is shrinking. I asked about it on the RNY board shortly after I got home and had a few responses from people that had similar experiences so I guess I'm in good company?! Call him... it'll make you feel better.

I have the same numbness in the top/front of my left thigh also. It's going away also. That's really weird. I hope yours goes away soon.
I'm not really nervous about my blood pressure being low, since I don't feel dizzy or light headed, but if it is low when I wake up in the morning (if I ever go to sleep tonight) I will call him.
Hi Mary,
I also had the same problem with my blood pressure after I came home from the hospital. Dr. Baker also told me to just take half a pill. I did, but after about the third day I starting feeling really crappy, tired and sometimes a little light headed. So for the next couple of days I took my blood pressure and like you it was way down. I didn't call Dr. Baker. I just quit taking the pill. And the next day I felt so much better. I monitered my blood pressure every day till I went back to Dr. Baker. Before I went back to him, I had an appointment with my regular doctor and told him about it. He told me not to take them anymore and I haven't took any blood pressure pills since. I did tell Dr. Baker about it when I went to see him and he said it was great that I didn't need them anymore. Call Dr. Baker or his office, I'm sure Addy would be more than happy to talk to you. I have called her about a couple of other things and she has always been very helpful and nice. Good luck.
