How is everyone?
I've been in the doldrums for the past week and a half. No weight loss, feeling like doo-doo, legs hurting again... then the light bulb went off I had started retaining fluid again. Back on my lasix and all is well with the world again. Feeling much better already. Haven't done well with the moving this week. Only walked twice so far. My m-i-l fell last Sunday and broke her hip at the nursing home where I work and she had it fixed and is back but she is in bad shape. She already had lung CA and I think this might be too much for her. She has given up. At 90 I guess she is entitled. We are just trying to keep her as comfortable as we can. Oh, on top of all that, we had our annual corp. survey getting ready for the state survey. Joy, joy. Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I am going to try to make it to support group on Tuesday if nothing else happens.
Good morning, Sybul,
So glad you got the fluid retention thing figured out quickly. With this heat it's easy to have happen. I'm sure you're working on getting in plenty of fluids, but just a reminder...
I don't have to go to wor****il 10:00 today, so I can sit and have a second cup of coffee with DH, who isn't going in until 1:00. He won't be home for dinner tonight so there won't be any reason for me to hurry home either. Guess it will be a stress-less day for me.
Sorry about the MIL news. Seems once a hip is broken folks tend to go downhill rather quickly. Such a shame, isn't it? It's a good thing for her that you work there to keep a close eye on her situation. My prayers are with you and your family.
Well, gang...off to putter a bit before I get ready to go. Everyone have a dandy day....hugs to all!

Hi Sybul
I'm glad your fluid retention is under control again. I'm sorry to hear about your MIL.
I have been in sort of a weird funk for about a week now. I'm trying to snap out of it. I think I need a day of shopping or something which I plan on rectifying this weekend.
So, to make a long boring story short. I'm still here and still losing (albeit slower).
