What is your favorite time of year and why??

Mine is fall.  I love the cool mornings, warm days and cooler nights.  The air is wonderful, I can be outside and not be miserable, hot or cold, and it seems that people are friendlier during that time of year.  We have Thanksgiving holiday that I think causes us all to pause and reflect, and be thankful.  Also, I love this time of year, b/c its when I met my wonderful husband, and we had so many good times together in the fall, hanging out and getting ready for the holidays.

So, what is your favorite time of year ? Why? What drives you during this time of year??

I think I love Spring the best....
everything is turning green, the birds are out singing and chirping..
the breeze feels so good and I can walk outside without a coat
lol
I can open the windows and air out the house from the long winter..

but then again, I love Fall too.....bc its cooling down after the HOT summer.. I hate HOT!

at this stage in my life...days go by pretty fast it seems..so it never takes long to get to another season..

There are things I like about every season.  I'd say my favorite time of year is early fall.

I like it that the kids are back in school, so it feels like a new beginning every year which is always a little exciting.  I love football and that is football season.  Like you, I love the cool mornings, warm days and cooler nights.  I love the colors on the trees.

I LOVE something about every season mainly because it's a transition to something different. I love love love Christmas, but I hate receiving gifts or feeling obligated to buy for anyone. As for seasons though:
Spring: Flowers start blooming and baby animals appear. We finally start to thaw out...lol.
Summer: Finally warm enough to heat the water and be able to go swimming...I'm a fish out of water. Longer days in the summer so I can get more "stuff" done after I get off work. I also met my husband in the summer and married him in the summer
Fall: A break from the scorching heat and the trees start changing color and I start preparing for the Holidays!! My favorite!!!! Am I forgetting something? YES...CRAFT FAIRS!
Winter: Holidays, my birthday, my husband's birthday, snow, long evenings.

So as you can see, I am the worst decision maker ever!!!

My fav is Spring.....It is like everything and everyone comes back to life after a long sleep of winter.  The birds start chruping....people are out and about.....kids are playing.....it is just a nice time of year to sit on the porch and watch the world come back to life.  Trees get leaves and turns green...flowers bloom.....grass turn green.

Fall by far is my favorite.  It's my birthday time and I just love the fall colors and the cooler days and cool nites.  Football games and bonfires, and the holidays..I love Thanksgiving..but I really love Halloween!  (not for the candy this year!)  My neighborhood kids all come out and trick or treat..I ran out of candy last year!  Fall feels like a new start for me somehow.  Kelley

My favorite time of the year is late fall and winter.  While I love the colors of spring and fall, I love the cold crisp air that comes from winter.  Winter is when my mom would put up her quilt frame and she and the neighbors would sit around quilting and talking and I would sit quietly and hear all the wonderful stories.

I also loved the snow and remember as if were yesterday using old socks to cover our hands as we made snowmen and how our hands burned like fire from the cold and then they would start warming up and burn so badly.  I also remember snow ice cream, fudge and hot cocoa and waiting for Santa.

Winter is my most favorite time.  On the other hand, I hate summer.  Hate, hate, hate it.
