YES!!!  You're more than welcome here. The reason you don't see too many men here is that the vast majority of WLS patients have been women, but I see that changing, slowly, but it is changing.
It will be great to get a guy's perspective on things now and then.  Hope you won't be offended when we talk "girl talk" though! 

Sounds like you're doing everything necessary to get your life back onto a healthy track. Keep up the great work, we're here if you need us.

Slow!  Have to lose 42 lbs before they will schedule surgery.  Went last week and have lost a total of 26 lbs. -- have 16 more to go.  I just want to get this off and get my surgery.  Seeing the cardiologist yesterday and today for a nuclear stress test, for my clearance.  That should be the last of my pre-op tests.  The process, I know, will all be worth it. 

AmyBeth, you are just GLOWING!!!  It's wonderful to hear you're doing so well, have a BF, and can run up stairs and skinny dip   WHOOOO!!!

Life is truly grand, isn't it?
