First Fill

I went yesterday to my followup appt. with Dr. Gibbs.  I was expecting to get a fill.  We talked about it and he said he didn't want to mess with anything since I'm doing so well.  I was happy to hear that..and now am a bit nervous.  But he said for me to call when I feel I am having to struggle not to eat too much and he would do a fill then.  I have read that it's better to have fewer fills and to go longer between them.   I sure hope that's true!  Kelley

Hi Kelley! First of all, congratulations on your success. You have done amazing even without a fill!! I know what you mean about not needing too many fills. So far I have done really well on very few fills. I have had my surgery for over a year now and I have only had five fills. Thats not a lot at all! Make sure that if you start to struggle that you call immediately! Its not cool to start feeling those hunger feelings again and to slide back into that old rut! Anyway, just wanted to take a minute to say hi and to tell you congratulations! Keep us updated on your progress!!
