I am supposed to be banded on Wednesday.  I admit I am having butterflies.  I get a feeling of clausaphobia...Did anyone else do that?  And would you definitely have it done again?  Just having last minute jitters about the surgery I think.

YES YES YES YES!!!!! And again, YES!!!!  I had rny, but I would do it again tomorrow b/c it has saved my life, improved every aspect of my life, and made everything so much better.

I cannot tell you enough how I would do it again if I needed too.  I tell people if Dr. Baker came in the room and said, "Rhonda, I need a demo patient" Id fall out in the floor and say, "OK, do it now!!!"

U are in great hands w/Dr. Baker, just follow his rules and you will be fine.  We are here for you anytime you need us.

Thank you so much for anwering... I needed to hear that....It also makes me feel better when people tell me how great Dr. Baker is.  I know he really is.  I just feel like maybe I should have spent less time reading about this and more time praying!  I know that will give me peace....so guess I will go do that right now!   :-)

99% of the time I say YES I would do it again, but every once in a while, on a bad bad day, I will say NO.  That doesn't happen often, matter of fact it is less than 1% of the time.  But for the most part, I am glad I had open rny, and I would do it again.

I also would do it again in a heart beat. It has so drastically changed my life. I am more active now than I have been since ny teen age years. The thing I love so much is that I actually have a lap again. ANd this is great becasue I can hold my grandson so much nicer. I can even lay him on my lap and change his diaper. I can't wait till he is up and walking and ready for grandma to take him to the park. Things like this I would have never been able to do before. YES I WOULD DO IT AGAIN!!!

Good luck tomm. I will follow you on Thursday morning and I too am nervous and second guessing myself, but know this is what I have to do to be healthy for the rest of my life. How have you done with the pre op diet? I have not followed all of the rules , but  I am on the right track at the moment. I will be lifting you up in prayer tomm.

Thanks everyone....I know I will feel the same way once I am out of the hospital.  I have worried about complications and not trusted that God will take care of me like I should.  I am excited about becoming a new woman though!

Robyn, I have done ok with the diet I guess.  It was really hard!  I couldn't do all 5 shakes yesterday.  Today I'm on clear liquids.  I am so excited to have apple juice!     I will be thinking of you!!  You will do great.  It will be so wonderful this time next year when we are comparing after pics!  You're in my prayers!
