Confused

I made a post a week ago and my post still hasn't been posted. I don't understand why I can't post.  This probably won't be posted either. I really wanted to be part of this group, but I guess it's not going to happen.

Ooops, well it posted. I'm shocked!  Hello everyone. My name is Mary and I had my RNY on Monday. I just came home last night. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. I've been reading posts for a few weeks now so I know a little about some of you.   I tried to post last week, but it said I couldn't post until a moderator approved me, I kept checking back all weekend but I still couldn't post. I'm so happy that I can now, and thank you to whoever accepted me.

Hey Mary and welcome.  This is where you will get most of your information.  While the doctor's give us good orders, they, or most of them, have never had this surgery nor can they even imagine what we go through from start to finish.  So, if you need us, we're here. 

Hello Hello!!!! Well I can't say I ever had a moderator screen a posting, but strange things happen on here every now and then. If you post or reply and don't see anything for 5 minutes...do it again!!!! If all else fails and you end up posting twice, there's a delete button for those occassions. I hope your surgery was uneventful and everything is going well. Welcome to the boards! Before I started posting, I think I knew everyone's name, date of surgery, type of surgery, demeanor, online personality, etc. Just jump on in over here. I don't really know the location of your town, but you should join us for the walk from obesity in September(LR...see Susan's post). I'm already getting excited about going and getting to meet whoever shows up, but I'm kind of dorky like that

Thank you for the warm welcome Shawna and Lightswitch.  There is so much information on this site and I find myself on her for hours. When I was being discharged from Baptist Hospital Thursday, Lauren Hill, told me more about the Obesity Walk in that is happening in Sept. I plan on attending.

I would also like to welcome you. Glad you could finally post and join us. We here on the Arkansas boards are very friendly. We always welcome the new people. I have never ever seen anyone on here be hateful or rude to anyone. Not like the main boards. Man sometimes they can be down right hateful. But not here we are all very nice and give our best advice and opinions.
