Hey last night I tried Zumba. It was great. I had a lot of fun and was great exercise. I have been doing water areboics, tread mill and bike. But last night tried Zumba. It made me more tired than any of the other stuff but it was a blast. I am goig to have to keep doing this. When I got home DH pissed me off so I took off wakling. Man I walked for an hour and a half after I did the Zumba. Talk about some really tired legs today. But it felt great. I need to do this more often. I am 38 pounds from goal. It is comoing off slower now but I am determined to get the rest off.
Hope everyone has a great day.

I abo****ely hated Zumba. Will never do it again.....I felt totally rediculous. I am glad you enjoy it. They offer it at my gym but I refuse to do it. I did it one Saturday and then cussed my trainer for suggesting I go.........he heard words out of me most men dont say....lol I am not into the whole class and mirrors thing I guess. Looked fun but was not my thing. I do better lifting weights and busting arse on the elliptical.  One of the woman in the Zumba lost several inches in about 6 weeks......so go to it girl.......its good to find something you enjoy.

Everyone needs to find the one gym activity they enjoy and go to it....YAY for Carla.....keep us posted and keep up the good work..........and let the DH **** you off some more.......the more you move the more you lose.........keep him in line girl...

I do agree with the mirrors. I hated them. I have always hated to look in the mirror especially when I was so much bigger. Plus I am not really cordinated so I looked funny. But I just laughed at my self and kept going. I love Latin music so that made it nicer. It really was a good work out. I can't wait till tomorrow when I get to do it again.

Sounds like fun!!! As for people lighting a fire when they **** you off...the PCPs office did that too me yesterday and boy was I a ball of fire by the time I got home! That reminds me...I need to go make a personal call to deal with that situation...who wants to bet the office manager will be MIA

I LOVE ZUMBA!!! I took a class this past Spring here at ASU-Beebe and just fell in love with it. It's hard on my knees though! I have to really watch it or I will twist my knee doing some of the moves. I guess I'm just not as young as I used to be Doesn't it feel great to be able to move now?!

Carla

Where are you doing that?  They have those classes at Mercy too but I don't want to do anything where I have to move and things might shake where someone could see, lol.
