I swallow all my vitamins.  (The stoma is the size of a dime when healed, so it's not like there's any pill out there big enough to get stuck in a completely healed stoma.) But I'm sure vitalady or bariatricadvantage would have liquids or chews.

Hey MAri glad to you your around. I did the flinestones. Didn't care for them but did them for the 1st month. I know do centrum. As far as Calcium Citrate I do the ones from walmart with D. Sorry not much help on the other. As far as protien drinks have you tried making any of your own with the protien powder? I have a few that I make that I think are really good. I still do them sometimes. Hope everything works out for you.

I don't know about liquid, but I know they make petites. However, you just have to take even more of the little ones!!! As for flinstones....yuk-o, but I made it on them until I could swallow a regular muti-vit. I don't have any problems swallowing my pills, just put them on your tongue long wise so they don't try to go down sideways. I had one twist on me before it made it to my throat and I can telly ou I felt that one the whole way down. THEN I swallowed a SF har dcandy as soon as I put it in my mouth. I freaked out, but I just sipped some hot coffee and it finally went down. I thought for sure it would kill me! yesterday was a disaster day for me all around!!!

Mari, I didnt like the flintstones either, and the prescription ones gagged me, the smell was bad, so Dr. Baker approved a chewable I could tolerate.  They are from wal-mart, kids source chewables, there are 120 of them in a thing, for like $6.  Warning- -They are SOUR!!!!  But I love them.  And they have all the nutrients in them that we need, I do 2 in the am and 2 in the pm, always 2 hours away from my calcium.  As for calcium, I do the citrical petites, they are small, and I take 2 in the am and 2 in the pm.  You must take them 2 hours separate from your multi-vites, b/c the vitamins block calcium.  Another hint, my nurse suggested taking them w/a warm liquid, so I take them w/coffee, that has gotten cool enough to drink w/o burning on the way down.  I drink lots of coffee, so to have it handy every time I take pills is no problem. Hope this helps, eating is like a science project somedays, at the end of my day, I find myself tallying protein and stuff to see if Ive had enough or too much, whatever.  But its allll so worth it, I have lost 120 pounds that I dont ever plan to put back on.   Have a great day!! I do the Centrum Chewables (they come in orange flavor) it's like 100 tablets for 10 bucks. For calcium I do the Calcium Citrate+D (walgreens brand) Its about 10 bucks for 120 pills.  Their a little large and I know early out I couldn't take them.  But walgreens does have the calcium citrate in a petite form and so does caltrate (also calcium citrate) but you have to take more of them to make up what you need daily.  I also take iron (2 tablets).  Daily, it looks like this Morning: protein shake, my morning meds, 2 calcium citrates Afternoon: 1 centrum chewable, 2 iron and my afternoon meds Evening: protein shake, my evening meds and 2 calcium citrates I take a bunch of other meds, so I just divide out my vits with my pill boxes and take them all at once!  Also by taking my meds with my protein, I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone.  And it helps me to remember to take them.  I used to forget all the time early out and suffered hairloss, restless arms and legs, bruises and just being tired all the time.  You can find the calcium citrate online I think it's called oasis and its liquid form.  Just do a google search and there are many online vitamin places just for weightloss surgery patients.  And some will send you free samples just for asking.  bbvitamins.com bariatricadvantage.com bariatriceating.com do a google for bariatric vitamins and compare prices.
