R'ya Movin??? Monday Edition.
Monday...I walked 1 mile in the am and then swam across the lake and back in the evening. I'm not sure the distance that I swam, but I can tell you it was non-stop. That's why I love going across the lake. Sure you can stop swimming...if you want to drown!!!!! Swam for about 30 minutes straight.
However, when I got done swimming, my blood sugars were dropping and by the time I made it home to get some food apparently it was a little late. I ate some yogurt with cheerios thinknig it would give me a little spike...boy did it! I dumped and went to bed at 8. Then I didn't go for my morning walk because I was still exhausted this morning. I have decided that my goal is to have lost 100 pounds by my 6 month mark which is in 36 days. I have thought 23 pounds in 36 days is like impossible...that's the kind of loss I saw right after surgery. Oh well, I don't care. I shall shoot for the moon and if I miss.... I'll land among the stars! I am going to start back jogging in the evenings. I encourage anyone to hold me accountable as it won't be easy on my own. I ordered some running shoes and they should be here by the end of the week as I think my shoes may have been the reason for some of my running struggles.
