I was wondering as I am mushies for 2 weeks now but I am more hungry now than when I was on full Liquids? I know I have no fill and I am to wash all my mushies down with water so I guess that is normal to feel hungry till a fill I just don't wanna get outta control!! I am eating healthy protein and small quanites and walking so I hope this is good. Did anyone feel really like there is no band all of a sudden? Feels really weird! I am not starving but just normal I guess.  Please help in telling me what you felt when mushies were introduced and what you ate Breakfest/lunch/dinner? Thanks

Hi, well...I'm not hungry really just yet.  I've been on mushies a little over a week.  I have no fill until July 15th, but doesn't seem to be bothering me.  What I'm eating..boiled eggs, sometimes soft scrambled eggs w/cheese, protein shakes 2 X a day, pintos & cheese, plus crockpot dishes..whizzed up in a food processor, Riocotta bake, Cheesey Cauliflower bake, sf italian ice, sf pudding, tonite I'm making Chili cheese soup in the crockpot.  I found the website of theworldaccordingtoeggface.com  (who had RNY and has terrfic recipes).  For the 4th..hubby is grilling really marinaded chicken..and I'll whiz it up in the foodprocessor..plus make other stuff I can have.  Hope this helps.  (make sure you're drinking enough, might be thirst you have instead of hunger) Kelley

First, everyone is different with the hunger thing.  I am always hungry :)  My recommendation is, at the beginning, just take it slow and easy.  You've got to remember that you are healing.  When you start getting your fills, things get much easier.  I think I'll be there in one more fill.  It just takes time.  When you start eating real food, everything is much better.

I can totally relate!!!  If I didn't have the scars to prove it.....I would think I didn't have a band hiding out in there.  My hunger showed up the day after surgery and it was pissed off!  I wish I was like others who are not hungry.....makes me jealous!  ha ha  I am eating more than I should but at least I am eating mushies/soft foods again.  I eat refried beans with cheese, cottage cheese, chili, and tuna salad.  Please, July 10th and 4 cc's get here soon before I gain the weight I lost!!!  :) Good luck!
