Does the PB 2 taste good?  I've never heard of it. Is it worth ordering 4 jars?

I absolutely LOVE IT.  In fact, I eat it almost every day.   I ordered 4 jar initially because I was leary of "powdered peanut butter".  But now I order it in shipments of 12 jars to be sure I never run out.   My 11 year old daughter loves it too.  I caught her eating it POWDERED OUT OF THE JAR and I was like WTF?  I asked her what in the world she was doing - that you weren't supposed to eat the powder - that you were supposed to mix it with water to make peanut butter.  She just shrugged and said, "It tastes good this way too."  So I had to forbid her to eat it!   I absolutely love it and don't think I'll EVER eat regular full fat (or even reduced fat and/or natural) peanut butter again!

Shawna I think your realizing that is is becoming an issue now is a great start. So I am sure you will do even better than you have been. ANd you have been doing great. So keep your chin up and just remember that you will have a really close partner to help you real soon. Just think of how good it will be once DH goes through it. Than you will be eating just alike. That will make things even easier for you. Than you can easily rid the house of all tempting foods.

Girl don't you know how much easier life will be! We're not sure when he will have surgery. We may have to wait until the beginning of next year for financial reasons, but when we came to this revelation last night he decided that would be okay if he had to wait a little bit. We find out today if and when he is having surgery on his ankle and he's still in school so it may be okay if he doesn't have surgery until the beginning of next year. It will make thigns a little easier for me(and give some competition!)  Last night at the seminar, Dr.Roller had you before and 6 month pics up and you look like a completely different person. The whole room took a deep breath in when your after shots came up(they were in awe). You are doing so well!!!

Shawna, I dont have much advice, but wanted to say congrats on catching the demon early on, its a struggle at best. Im 14 months post op and struggle daily w/my protein.  Im sure you see in my what Im eating posts that I dont do great w/it, but I try, I use protein powder in milkshakes made with no sugar added  fat free vanilla ice cream (blue bunny) usually 1/2 cup cold coffee, blend in bullet till mixed well, add few cubes of ice and blend till thick and ice is blended.  Cant taste the protein powder and its such a nice treat on these hot days. That gives you 32 grams of protein, plus whats in the ice cream.  Other options are to mix in sf orange soda, or any other diet soda, the blending gets rid of the carbonation, and is like a float from sonic.  If it werent for this option, Id never get in my protien in the hot weather, b/c I dont like to eat when Im hot.  Thats my only suggestion!!! Good luck, and congrats on your honeys decision.  Mine is considering lap band if his insurance will ever approve it!!!! Rhonda D.
