NWA Support Group!

Was so awesome last night, had a ball at dinner with you guys and the meeting was so great, I love meeting the new people and then seeing some I had not seen in awhile, DENISE! skinny face chic that you are! Can't wait to see you again next month, and I want to thank Dr. Roller and his office for the excellent after care they are providing not only his patients but others whose physicians are lacking in that area. He has a wonderful add in today's SWTR. AmyBeth

Ooo yea! It was fun! I apologize to everyone for being *uh hum* an hour late to dinner. Thanks for letting me eat some of your yummy food AB!  I was debating whether to bring it u*****t, but it's fresh in my head and I can't quit thinking about it! Last night was the first time my husband has attended support group with me. In the past, he's made comments like "I should have that done" or something to the effect. Well, while we were sitting there and talking last night, he leaned over and said "I want it". I told him that's a decision that only he could make and we'd discuss it after the meeting. Well he couldn't wait....lol. He was asking Anne all kinds of questions when everyone was leaving and he has decided that he's going to the seminar tomorrow. I'm happy for him and I'm sure he'll get approval since it didn't take me anything to get approved and he has more comorbidities than I did. I don't think our insurance really gives a flip since they pay about 4k for the surgery and we foot the rest. I just pray that we will find a way to pay for his and also that he is making the right decision for himself. I am really excited for him!!

Hey you tell that sweet guy that my bootay is keep the bench warm for him!!!!! So So happy for you two.

I agree with you guys. It was great fun last night. I really enjoyed seeing you all and talking with you. I hope we can do it again next month.
Shawna tell Johnny I am very happy for him. I hope everything works out for him. He knows he will have a great surgeon and plenty of support.

I will tell Johnny what you ladies have said and I'm sure he will beam. He's really excited about the thought of having WLS. I wonder if we could get a family discount...lol

I was gonna say you could call it splendid cookies, but then I said that in my head once more and decided it was entirely to corny. Sometimes I just can't help myself. Although....if Tammy was to open a bakery that specialized in healthier options, she could call it that because corny sells!!!! I won't put any TM rights on it, but if you ever needed help Tam, I'm all about planning events(and 2nd jobs at this point!) so just keep me in mind.
