I worked from home today and sat at a computer literally all day long.  I barely even MOVED today, much less moved to lose.  I'm getting embarassed by my lack of movement.  But I will keep posting this daily because I WILL be walking again asap.   So hopefully you moved today more than I did.

I'm not usually on late enough to post, but since I am...here it goes. I walked 1 mile this morning and then the hubby and i bought bikes this evening. He wore out pretty fast so we only got 1 mile in. We just found out he is probably going to have to have surgery on his ankle so we are going for something with a little less impact on his ankle. It'll be a good change up for me too. I haven't rode a bike since I was a kid and it was the slimmest days of my life!

Well, I guess I moved, I havent slowed down since I got up this morning.  We took the carpet up in our living room, so I cleaned to underfloor today, whew, glad no one could see that!!!! Hung out 3 loads of clothes, fed and watered horses and dogs, then cleaned the kitchen, cleaned out my car!!!  That was an accomplishment, since we live in it.  Then I cleaned off my front porch!! So, I didnt do any structured exercise, but I have NOT slowed down since I got up, I have a kidney infection starting or a stone moving, so my left kidney is really sore, and I can tell Ive been on my hands and knees cleaning floors!!!  Is there ever an end???? Hang in there Wendy, you'll be back to walking soon, and BIKES???? Wow Shawna, I need to buy one, but Im afraid my butt would be more on the ground than on the seat, lol. I'll move more tomorrow I hope!!! Rhonda D.

Oh girl, I find the bike much more entertaining than walking. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my morning walks when the sun is just coming up and it's cool, but bikes give you exercise with a breeze!!! I bought my bike at walmart for about $65(on sale) and then I put a seat with a little more cushion on it for about $15. When I first got on that thing, every bike wreck I had as a kid went flashing through my memory. So.... I took the plunge and started down the drive way and once you get rolling, there's no turning back! I was almost brave enough to ride without hanging on to the handle bars once we got about halfway through the neighborhood, but I figured I had better not show off my tricks just yet

Couldn't sleep so thought I'd post at this late hour.  Walked 40 minutes briskly Monday morning, then walked with DH and 2 sons..plus 2 dogs for 25 minutes in the evening.  (Not too terrible for only being out 1 week from surgery)
