I'm 5'4 and weigh a lot more than you.  I just can't bring myself to write it down yet!  I turned 51 in April.  I have 2 grown daughters, Robyn and Hollie, and 5 grandkids (Ethan, 10, Emmersyn, 4, Ensley, 18 mo., Valleigh, 5, and Hadleigh, 7 mo. ).   I've been married for 10 years to my second husband....a great guy who is smart, talented and very good to me!

Hi, congrats on getting to have weightloss surgery!  I found things to keep me busy while I was waiting the last week before my surgery.  I would get nervous, scared, what if this or what if that, and then I realized I was in good hands, and all my pre-op tests were okay and that I would be okay.  So I did needlework, played games online, read books, anything to keep me busy and next thing you knew, it was the night before surgery and I couldn't sleep, but I did get a few hours sleep.  I knew I would be sleeping during and after surgery anyway, so I watched TV until I couldn't hold my eyes open any longer. I was on a liquid diet for 4 weeks before my surgery, per my surgeon's orders.  I went from 400 pounds to 368 pounds while on the liquid diet.  I am 30 years old, and 5'2 and am disabled with lung disease (COPD diagnosed when I was 25).  Now I am 220, went from 34 jeans and 5x tops, to 20 jeans and xl tops.  I have never felt better, even though I still have most of my health problems I had before surgery, I am able to buy clothes in a store, go out and enjoy life, fishing and camping, I can take care of myself (hygeine and personal) and i can wear a seatbelt!!!!  No excuses for not wearing it now I have to wear it, hehe. I can't wait till you start losing weight and start to have small achievements and big ones to!
