It's starting to feel like reality!!

I haven't posted yet...well, maybe once awhile back!  I was waiting until I was closer to really having it done.  Well, my surgery date is July 16 and it is starting to feel like a reality!  I know I still have a while to go, but I wanted to go ahead and start posting so I can get to know you all better!  I have been on the side lines applauding you all!!

Hi there, so glad you decided to jump in and join the party!  Your date will be here before you know it, but until then (and of course, after) let us know what we can do to help out.

does anyone out there know if there are ant restrictions on swimming (or laying on a float) after surgery?

Welcome!  Lots of good people here.  Ask many questions as you need.  You'll do great!  I just had my surgery last Monday, June 16th, and so far no problems.

Thank you so much!  All of you are so sweet and encouraging!  I will be in and out with posts because my husband went to work at Lake Ouachita and so I am going there a lot.  Can't check email there so just wanted you to know so you wouldn't think I was being rude and ignoring you!  I am sure I will be coming up with questions...Hope I don't wear you all out!   I met a sweet lady at the support group I went to (Baptist Hosp) named Annette.  Does anyone here know her??  She had the lapband and was really sweet.  Gave me her email but I can't find it!   Hope you all have a great weekend!
