Surgery Date
I am so excited, I finally got a surgery date. I wil get my band on August 8th. I cant wait and I am just busting at the seams with excitement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have wanted this for such a long time but always found a reason not to do it. Something about having a beautiful baby makes you want to be healthier for them. I have a very real goal and everytime I look at his face, I remember why I am doing this. I dont care about the number of pounds that I weigh or the size of jeans that I fit into, althought, lets be honest, that is definately a bonus. My biggest dream is that someday when we are at Disney World, that I will be able to ride Dumbo and the spinning tea cups with him and not someone else because his mommy is too fat to fit in them. I can get misty eyed just thinking about it. Just had to share with all of you. Thank you all for your words of encouragement. I am sure that I will call on you many times in the future as well.
congratualtions on your surgery date. I know how you feel abut losing the weight and wanting to do things with you child. I had mine a little late but I do have my grandbaby. I had surgery in Nov 07 and he was born in March of 08. I have lost over 100 pounds already and have so much more energy. I now look forward to him being able to walk and ready to go to the park and the amusement parks and the water parks with his grandma. I am so ready to be active and do things with him. He is my 1st grandchild and only one right now. SO I am so ready to spoil him. Again congratulations and will be ready to slid over on the losers bench.
