Fort Smth or bust!!!
Hi everyone. I posted a couple of weeks ago that I was going to be moving to the Fort Smith area. Well, the time has come. I will be leaving my job here on June 26 and moving west that weekend. I am looking forward to getting to know all you ladies on this board and hopefully meeting some of you in the future! Wish me look on this cross country move ~ I'm a big chicken when it comes to traveling on the interstate. All those tractor trailers scare the crap out of me!!!

Hey Donna, welcome to AR! I know you're not here yet, but you'll love it here. We moved here from the other coast (San Diego) three years ago and couldn't be happier.
I've noticed the 18 wheelers are slowing down a bit to conserve fuel. Hope that's the case on your way out. Take care getting here, we'll be waiting for ya!

How exciting! I love moving(although not frequently) and I really like road trips. The trick to semis is driving faster than them! Okay that's just what I do and probably not recommended, I just hate driving in a pack. They are nice to get behind when they are flying and clearing a path so there's another option! Good luck to you! I hope you have a safe drive and get lots of cheap gas along the way!!!

Thanks for the well wishes Shawna!! I'm not so sure about driving faster than the truckers but I'll definitely keep that in mind as an option!!! As for cheap gas, I'll consider myself lucky if it stays under $4.00 a gallon. LOL!!!!! See you soon!!!
