Ready for the big day !

I had my pre-op visit with Dr. Roller on Tuesday and I'm good to go.  My surgery is Wednesday the 18th also.  I'm the first of the day at 7:30.  He really stressed that I would never be able to go back to smoking, even after the surgery.  I look at it as a double bonus.  I have more incentive than ever not to relapse.  One of my sisters is coming up this weekend and she will stay for a week and help keep me moving and drinking after surgery.  I really enjoy her visits so I'm really psyched.  We'll have a couple of days to hang before the big event.  I'm so excited, I'm counting down the days.

You should be excited and proud of your decision!  The big day will be the beginning to a new you.  Enjoy the time with your sister and embrace your decision. Best wishes to you!

Yep, I did wait forever for the blood draw.  Maybe we can be hall-walking buddies in the hospital, lol.  I'm pretty nervous about the whole thing too the closer it gets!

Hey WLS sister!!! I am right after you with Dr. Roller at 9:30 on the 18th! I also had my pre-op Tues. We might've been there at the same time. Did you have to wait forever for your blood draw?
