I'm down almost 70 pounds and counting...I'm using the new math...where you round up...lol...And why didn't anybody warn me that i would mourn my Boobs so much....i remember the day when we go out and just dance and i would almost put out and eye with the girls....now the only way I'm putting out and eye is if they are shorter than me and looking at my feet....i swear...i never thought i would miss them so much...."girls can you hear me....keep your head up...stop looking so sad all the time...After March 17th 2009 you will pointing to the heavens again. So goodbye 48DDD....hello 48 Longs...I think i need a moment....to regroup... Please can someone tell when the next meeting is....AAA..MBA...mourning our boobs is nothing any women shouldn't go through this alone....

I love me no matter what....and this surgery will only enhance my inner and outter beauty.

Cause you know I put the FAB in FABULOUS!!!!!

Wow 70lbs, congratulations! How did your lupus react to the stress of sudden weight loss?  I hope it improved and didn't send you in to a flare. Goodness, I hope I don't lose my what boobs I have, lol, they are already pretty much south bound.  Something about having a 38 J when I was breastfeeding my second child the 13 lb moose baby. I wish you continued success with you wls and much joy from being a mother. Alice

my dr say we usually require implants because we tend to sag again and have the "ski slope" effect so implants are usually required due to tissue loss......but every surgeon is different and its up to you......i like my implants and honestly when I work out they bounce and jiggle just like the real deal. tammy

I am also still in mourning over my boobs.   It was an especially difficult loss to take.  They didn't go quickly.  They lingered for months.  There were even times where they seemed to bounce back a little, giving me false hope that they may survive after all.  But it was not to be.   I eventually learned how cruel false hope could be and have accepted the fact that, for me, WLS was a death sentence for my boobs.  I have said goodbye in stages as their condition worsened. Goodbye 42DDD.  Goodbye 40DD.  Goodbye 38DD.  Goodbye 38D.  Goodbye 36DD.   Hello 36 longs that thankfully hide behind a Victoria Secrets Body Collection 36D.  Hello looking like a total boy when I wear a sports bar to walk.

OMG, I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad to see you back!!  I've been wondering where you've been. Congratulations on your weight loss. Are you getting along better now?  I felt so badly for you when I saw you in the hospital.  If it makes you feel any better, after my surgery in April I've had a lot of trouble eating. It's gotten so much better, but believe me, I thought of you a lot! Boobs?  What are those???? Tammy's the only one around here that has them, and she paid for 'em!  I'm with Wendy, my 46DD's are now 34 longs. I thought of getting them lifted back to where God intended them to be, but really don't think I want implants, so if they were lifted I really would look like a boy  LOL Good undergarments will become your new best friend.  I wear a long line body shaper that is very comfortable and holds the excess stomach skin in place as well as helping out the boobage department. Hope to see more of you. The next meeting is the 2nd Thursday of the month. Have to look and see what the date is, but hope you'll be there. Hugs to you

Susan

I lurk more than post, but was wondering how you were doing and what has been happening with you.  I hope everything is going well with the adoption.  Sorry to hear you have had many hospital stays…hopefully you’ll stay clear from them now.  Almost 3 months and you have already lost 70 pounds that’s wonderful.  You should be proud of yourself.  Can’t help with the booby thing…mine are 38ddd long.  Got a good bra, which helps when I have it on, but with out it…it so very sad/sag…very sad/sag.  You are doing great on your exercising, a lot better than I can say I am…I have to work on it.  Glad to see you back and doing well…Keep up the great job!

70 lbs?!?! You are doing great! I remember reading your posts back when I was a lurker, but I have since come out. I think I could get along quite nicely with your method of rounding. Sometimes I get a head **** when i report a loss of 60.4 pounds....LIKE ANYONE'S COUNTING! Kidding...I go to the straight pound. even if it's a 240.9, it's still a 240 and sure don't hop back on the scale to make sure it wasn't 241!!!!  I bought the best bra ever at Target. I just love them. I got alot of compliments about my weight loss after I bought a good fitting bra! I guess the ones that were too big were bulking me up
