Cutest Dog in Hot Springs Award Winner!

My little 11 year old daughter begged me to enter my mom & dad's male weiner dog RustyRed into the Walgreens's Cutest Dog in Hot Springs Contest.   I tried to talk her out of it because I really didn't want to go to the trouble of DOING it - but it was important to her.   Then I tried to tell her that there were over 20 dogs entered and that some people probably had their dogs professionally done up with bows in their hair or suits on or whatever - that our "plain" dog, although beautiful, probably would not win.  She said that he had "already won in her heart" and that she wanted him to enter because she knew he would win.   So we entered him.  And he won.   So I thought I'd post a picture of him for y'all.  Meet RustyRed... officially the Cutest Dog in Hot Springs.  (He and his mate, RubyRed, are the dogs that pull me up and down my road/hill every day.)

Im not even a weiner dog person, but that is ONE CUTE POOCHIE!!!!  Congrats to Mr. RustyRed for winning!!!!  Tell your daughter if she has as good of choice in future (long way off future) men, she will do well!!!!!  I know you and hubby hope she sticks to cute dogs for a long time!!!!! Rhonda D

I love weiner dogs!  My mom had a weiner-jack russell - beagle mix.  What a personality! That dog is cute!
