Whatcha Eating....Wednesday Edition??

Good morning all! I am on my way to bus duty but wanted to try and get this posted before I left. Breakfast- 1/2 slice whole wheat toast with cream cheese Lunch- red beans and rice Snack- popcorn Dinner- baked chicken and field peas.....that's subject to change though!!  What are you eating today?   Karen

Well, let's see...I am just starting on mushies, so I guess this will be my menu: (1) HMR shake, 1 quart of diluted apple juice, 5 crackers, and 1/2 can Healthy Choice Tomato Soup, and as much water as I can stand. How does that sound to everyone? Karen

Last day of full liquids Breakfast:  Dannon ligth & fit strawberry smoothie Lunch:  Won ton soup without the wontons Dinner:  A can of some sort of soup (blended)  lots of water, tea, crystal light Mary Lou

WOOOO HOOOO Mary Lou......aren't you glad to be almost through with the liquids stage. When you get your fills, it won't be nearly as bad. You will only have to be on liquids for a couple days so its not as long of a process as right after surgery. Anyway, good job and keep posting!!    Karen

I confess, I havent been posting here b/c my eating has not been good, and Ive been kinda ashamed.  Mike says my eating isnt bad, im just not moving enough.  We will work on both!!! Confession is good for the soul they say, I know you guys arent gonna flame me, so here goes for today, and I'll try to post every day, even if Im bad. Wake up (late) 2 cups of coffee No breakfast b/c Mike had to be at the doc w/no food, and I didnt eat either Lunch-2 small tilapia fillets broiled and 1/2 cup english peas/carrots Snack will prolly be a banana Dinner-Pork tenderloin and something, trying to get my carbs back under control Snack-Almonds or peanuts Going to increase my crystal lite and tea, cut back on my coffee, just too much caffeine.  Its such a hard thing, Ive let myself sneak in cookies and things that I dont need.  Just pray for  me and support me.

DO NOT BEAT YOURSELF UP!! You are going to be fine. We all slip occassinally. I know I sure have. Its been very hectic being the end of the school year and I have become hooked on these sugar free vanilla cream sandwich cookies and I crave them all the time. I have made myself stay away from them this week but I still find myself wanting them. I figure the less I eat them the better but it sure is hard. Plus, at least they are a little heathier than a candy bar or ice cream. Listen to me.........what am I doing........trying to talk myself into eating them or trying to talk myself out of eating them! Who knows!! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you to take it easy on yourself. You are doing great and you are an inspiration to us around here! Take care!   Karen

Wednesday:
2 cups black coffee (us Rhonda's are hooked!)
s/f Non-fat Latte
Salad with grill chicken & ranch (crutons)
cashews and a darn cookie!
many glasses of tea, couple of water
not sure about dinner.
Better days tomorrow!
I did move to loose today!! 45 min of BRISK walkin'

Rhonda~ the important thing is to recogonize our mistakes and then do something about them! I make bad choices also! Anyone who says they don't, are not being honest with thenselves! This thread helps me to be accountable and I know i will NOT be blasted out for my mistakes. Thank goodness we have each other for encouragement and also to help pick each other up when we are down! Thank you for being honest! It gives us all inspiration!

Ok, this is my newly revised day!!  Not so bad, but someone can tell me where I need to alter carbs, protein, etc. Breakfast-None Lunch-2 grilled tilapia fillets, 1/4 cup carrots, 1/4 english peas Snack-Medium Banana Snack-SF popscicle Snack-String Cheese Dinner-4 oz pork tenderloin and 1/2 cup string beans Calories--699 Fat--22 Protein--74.5 Carbs--48 Got in over 100 oz of liquids, lots of coffee, but 50 oz of crystal lite, and will have more before bed, and maybe another popscicle!!

breakfast - medium banana & 1/2 ounce cocoa roasted almonds 20 ounce protein drink lunch - 1/2 cup Hormel Chili w/ Beans & 7 rice nut thin crackers 16.9 ounces water snack - 4 apple slices & 2 tbsp PB2 16.9 ounces water supper - homemade hamburger pizza 16 ounces skim milk & 2 tbsp SF chocolate syrup Calories: 1044.55 Fat: 26.25 Net Carbs: 93.45 Protein: 97.13 Fluid Oz: 69.8
