Well, it was raining today and I didn't feel like dealing with wet dogs.  So I didn't take them this afternoon.  I feel bad, but they'll get over it I'm thinkin'.   I only had 30 minutes to exercise today because my son has a band concert tonight and I am a little busy dealing with that.  So I did a combination of running (yes, I actually RAN some) and walking for 30 minutes.   My husband and kids even got out in the rain with me!  My hubby walked and ran with me while the kids biked up and down the road/hill.  We really enjoyed it even though I look like something the cat drug in right now.  In fact, I gotta go & take a shower to get ready for this band concert thing.   So... did YOU move today?

Well, I moved from the bed to the bathroom and to the living room, does that count?? Not really I know, but still too sick to even try and pu****  Did a few leg lifts today while laying in bed, but I just dont have the energy.  I am hoping to be able to make it Thursday night.  I just cant do much while I am fighting to breathe, and breathing is NOT an optional activity, and at times, that is a struggle.  I will be better soon, and I will be back at the gym.  Seems like every time I get in the groove of moving, my body fights me.  Oh well, it cant win forever!!! Keep on moving, Rhonda D.

Unfortunately I'm with Rhonda - rolling from my computer desk to my desk doesn't count, does it? My lack of movement is really starting to get to me. I gave myself a break to finish the semester but now I'm two weeks after and I'm still not back into the swing of things. I need a kick in the pants! AT

I organized part of my house today for over an hour, I consider it exercise since I was on my feet moving a lot, and since I went through my clothes for the big part of it, I was raising my arms up a lot and reaching, so that covers arm lifts and walking, LOL. I also did my Physical Therapy stuff I do at home, so that is some exercises there.

May 6th, I walked a few blocks at lunch (10 mins. or so).  I walked around the classroom about 10,000 times.  I am going to get a pedometer for next year and record my steps each day.  I walked at the park w/ a friend for about 35 mins. Total... not as much as I'd like, but it's a start! CB from Arkansas

I actually made it to the trail to walk before the rain started. I walked almost two miles before it started sprinkling on me. I was almost finished so I decided to just get wet and make it the whole two miles. I walked it in about 40 minutes so I think that was pretty good!    Karen
