Whatcha Eating.....Monday Edition??

Ok.....here's our daily post! Sorry its late today. Monday's are always VERY HECTIC!

Breakfast- honestly.......nothing.....i'm still kind of miserable from the pizza and birthday cake last night. Its was nice to splurge but its made me feel cruddy and bloated today! Not a great feeling. Won't do it again for a while! Lunch- chicken salad and whole wheat crackers ( AMY, I think I'm in the chicken salad rut again!! LOL) Snack- probably a few pretzels....I am craving something salty Dinner- leftover turkey and rice Snack- maybe a couple of sugar free vanilla cream cookies What are you eating today?   Karen

Not as creative here.  Breakfast, chocolate HMR shake, lunch-  Sliced turkey breast on a low cal, low carb wrap with salsa snack-  HMR  vanilla with frozen mango mixed in.  mmmmmm dinner-  HMR and a cup of ice to chomp on. HMR shakes are really not bad.  I am on week 4 of them and have dropped 36lbs pre-op.

HELP!  I'm STARVING!  I had lap band surgery on 4/8 and up until yesterday, I was NEVER hungry.  It was great!!!  Apparently, that is o-v-e-r!  Breakfast--Kashi oatmeal, Lunch--pintos and cheese AND a soft taco AND three chocolate chip cookies!!!  I'm so afraid for dinner to roll around!  Does anyone know how long Dr Luttrell makes you wait for a fill after surgery?  He told me to call when I started getting hungry, but isn't four weeks too soon???

April, I'm a patient of Dr. Luttrell and I had my 1st fill 3 weeks out and I'm going this Wednesday for my 2nd fill (that would be 7 weeks out).  Go ahead & get scheduled, sometimes it's a week out before you can get in....Good Luck...Jamie

nothing!   I was banded on May1 and since last night I have a golf ball in the middle of my chest (GAS!)  jus****er for me today..... hopefully tomorrow I will feel like some broth or something! Mary Lou

Thanks Butterfly!  Do you have restriction?  Also, could you tell me HOW he does the fill?  Do you stand up in front of that machine?  Does it hurt?   I'm going to call ASAP and make an appointment...well, after you give me some courage!

breakfast - 4 apple slices & 2 tbsp PB2 20 ounces protein drink 7.7 ounces water lunch - pintos & cheese 16 ounces water snack - chicken & lettuce w/ hot sauce 16.9 ounces water supper - 1 ounce cocoa roasted almonds, 4 apple slices & 2 tbsp PB2  24 ounces skim milk & 3 tbsp SF chocolate syrup

Breakfast - nothing (and I just realized it!) Snack - 1 cookie Lunch - 1/2 of cheeseburger and chips Snack - 1 cookie and granola bar Dinner taco salad (Happy Cinco de Mayo!) with refried beans and rice. I drank about 24 oz of cranberry juice (urinary tract infection - BLAH!) and too much coffee and not enough water. Late night snack - sf ice cream sundae and just now I had some popcorn.

Yes - I ate like a ravenous wolf today. I also had lost another 2 lbs when I went to the doctor this past Friday. I'm getting so sick of people telling me to eat because I seriously eat all the time. Sorry - I'm ranting. Tomorrow I'll do better! AT
