It's really going to happen and I'm scared to death!

I must be the luckiest person in the world!  Just as I was giving up hope about having the gastric bypass surgery, my sister offered to pay for the whole thing!  Dr. Roller is going to be my surgeon.  I have had the blood work, chest x-ray, pft, and seen the dietician.  I go see the shrink next Wed. then on the 5th, I have the upper GI, cardiac stress test, and then the sleep study.  I don't have a date yet or anything but I'm on my way and scared to death.  I'm quitting smoking, weaning off caffiene, and trying to diet at the same time.  I feel nuts.

Dr. Roller is an excellent doctor.  He did my son's sugery.  By the way, my son had surgery in Jan. and I think he has lost over a hundred pounds and he looks great.

Wow!!!  You've got a lot on your plate!!!  My best advice it to stay as busy as possible to keep your mind off of all you're doing.  Have any hobbies?? Good luck with your journey!
