Wow - I've been so out of touch. I've missed being on the boards. So many new faces and old/new faces (Susan ) I check in and lurk around every now and then but hopefully I can get caught up now that my semester is over. My last class for the spring is tonight and I will have a brea****il June. I will hit my one year surgery mark in May - I've lost 135 so far. I read through Rhonda's list of achievements and they are so true. All of those little everyday things that after awhile become normal. I love being normal - ok well mostly normal! At least a normal size - lets just leave it at that! I hope to be around a little more so I can keep up with everyone. Hope you have a great day!

Hi Angie! Its nice to see you again! I figured you were busy! I am so ready for school to be out for the summer! Although, I don't know why because I am teaching summer school! I must be asking for punishment or something! Anyway, I will be driving through your neck of the woods this afternoon on my way to Heber Springs! Normally, I go through Des Arc but decided to take your way since the waters are still high. Not sure if the bridge and low roads are open yet in the Des Arc area! I would rather not take any chances! Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and that I am glad you're back! Take care!   Karen

Hey Angie, what a wonderful surprise to see you here.  Not a lot of us "old folks" still here, but for those of us who are, we're doing our best to keep things going. Congratulations on doing such a terrific job with your weight loss.  It really is an amazing way of life now, isn't it? Please, please do come around more....we've missed you! Big hugs (well, as big as they can be, anyway!)

Susan

Wow, its Angie!!!!  Glad to see you back, hope life settles down for you so that you can come out and play.   I dont play as much on here as I used to, since I am healthy this summer for the first time since I was a little girl, if i was healthy then.  I cant stay outta the yard and off of the lake bank and ponds.  Love to fish, and finally the heat is not bothering me.   Post us some new pics, I know you look totally different.  Hope you can come to some support groups since school is done for you. Take care and come out and play when you can!! Rhonda D.

No I didn't get blown away in the storms - although the family did find out that we can all sleep in our hallway if necessary! The 5 of us were packed in there like sardines but somehow we slept anyway. It was craziness!

Susan I'm glad you posted that the twisted small intestine thing is rare - I had all kinds of pains after I first read that! Well really my first thought was - I knew Susan was a little twisted Not really but that is scary and I am so glad that it was caught in plenty of time.

I hope to be able to make a support meeting at some point. I'd love to be able to get caught up. I was able to visit with Beth from here in Beebe - she ran the 5k that we had here at ASU-Beebe this past weekend. She did great! I was working so didn't get to participate but I think she ran it in like 33 minutes. She was so happy - and looks amazing.

Hope everyone has a happy Thursday!
