My 1st Concert Post-OP
I haven't been to a concert since 2003 when I went to the 106.3 Lickfest in Little Rock. They are now called 100.3 Edgefest, but I have always wanted to go every year but either was sick with my COPD or after I put on a bunch of weight I was to embarrassed to go out in a large crowd like that.
BUT NOT ANYMORE!! My roomie picked up our Edgefest tickets the other day!! YAY Next Saturday I will be rocking out to Disturbed and Kid Rock, yay yay yay I am so excited!!
Time to pull out the hair bleach from the bathroom cabinet and get ready, I know my roomie was looking through my multitude of Manic Panic hair colors deciding what color he wants his hair. Last year I did it in Fire Engine Red, and 2 months ago I did his head in Bright Spring Green, his hair still has a little green left, since the hair dye usually lasts 6-8 weeks or so. I will probably put some purple streaks in my hair, I can't do the whole head thing, I like my hair to much, LOL but a small streak or two is enough for me to feel punky and still look good.
I am just so excited that I feel confident enough to go to a concert again! If I had not had my surgery, I would have just spent the day home alone upset cause my roomie is having fun at the concert and my self esteem made me stay home. But no more, cause my self esteem is way better now.
