Ok, this one is fairly easy.  Now that you have had surgery or are preparing for surgery, what have you replaced eating with besides shopping for new clothes. I have started working jigsaw puzzles again.  It is an old hobby that I have picked back up.  So tell me, what do you do now w/all that spare time that you have since we arent eating all the time?? On the run again, Rhonda D.

OK.....mine kinda still involves food BUT healthier food. Some of my old college friends and some of my fellow teachers and I used to get together once or twice a week and go out to eat and just socialize. Now, since surgery for me and diets for them, we have decided not to waste calories on fast food and all that grease. Instead, we try to get together once a week or once every two weeks and meet for a book club. We all have a book to read and then we get together and talk about it. We still eat together but we usually bring some type of healthier salads or desserts. Hey anything is healthier than the french fries and milkshakes that we used to eat!   Karen

I actually work now....before surgery I stayed locked in my house and worked very little. I was married then and never drove anywhere as I did not have my license until I was 30. Now I work 5 days a week and drive where ever I want .

I am also at the gym a couple hours a night. So being this far out from surgery.......I am pretty much beyond the shopping trips and all that. good question!! take care tabbykat who shall be bench pressing the Gym Natzi if he gives me any crap today.....I am moody!!!

I'm pre-surgery, so I'm not quite where you all are, but I hope to not only get new smaller clothes..but I want to start my own portrait business.  I have done portraits for years..here and there but I want to concentrate on getting that going.  I hope to have all new energy so that after work each day, I will want to do something besides sit in front of the tv..and eat.

Mine is just plain more active. I have been going to the gym and swimming. Spening time with my new grandson. Plan on doing a lot with him as soon as he is big enough to run around. Can't wait to take him to an amusement park and actual be able to get on the rides. I also love water parks. Going this summer with my grown son. And this year I won't be embarrassed. Any of you see Norbitz? When they asked her if she had bottoms on under that suit. That would have been me. ( if I wore a 2 piece). LOL

Hello Rhonda D
My brain must have shrunk with the rest of me because these questions are hard for me.
I guess I have replaced my eating with trying to get myself organized. I use to be so organized but over the last few years I have been slack! I am working on my organizational skills at home and at work! It is driving everyone crazy (but me). I am kinda a clean freak and lately it has gotten worse!
Have a great weekend!

Pumpkin Seeds, LOL  I don't think I have really replaced my eating with anything.  When I quit smoking, I never replaced my smoking with something else either, so that's probably just the kind of person I am.  But I do have a thing for the pumpkin seeds or beef jerky.  You can guarantee that I will have one or the other near me, LOL
