One year post op appointment

I had my one year post op appt on Friday.   Had a  great time.  Dr. Baker had done an extensive surgery on Thursday, so after I got to the office on Friday, he had to go back over and work on this guy again.  Soooooooooo......we were there from 9:30 till almost 1.  But, no big deal, we visited w/the folks in the waiting room,  they served us flavored coffees of our choice, just spoiled us rotten, as usual.   Anyway, my appt went fine, he said I was doing great.  At weigh in that day, I had lost 117 pounds since my first visit there.  I was a little upset b/c I have had some weight gain, but Addie scolded me nicely, told me to remember where I had been, and how far I had come, then the reality of it all hit.  She gave me the pic that was taken the first day I was there, and she also took a new pic of me Friday and gave me that one as well.  OH MY GOSH!!!! I just cried.  God is so good, and this surgery has been so awesome.  As I sit here sipping my morning coffee, Im still amazed.  I will get them posted as soon as I get the old one and new one scanned in to my computer.   They were all laughing at me b/c I was wearing a denim mini skirt!!!  What a difference a year makes!!! Susan,  Labs were wonderful!!!  I forgot to get a copy, as the hospital just faxes to Dr. B, Im gonna call and see if they will email it to me!!!  Then I'll let ya know. Rhonda D.

Congratulations!! That is so wonderful. You have to be proud of yourself. All that hard work paid off. And I bet you look really hot in that mini skirt!!!!!!

I know you were ready for that 1 year check up! Sounds like everything went well! Glad to see your labs were good also!
I went last week for my 1 year check up and my vitimin D was low (as usual) other than that everything was great! He told me to keep taking the B-12 shots twice a month. Can't wait to see your pics!
