Questions for Dr.Roller patients...
Hello all~
I'm an Okie here about an hour and 45 min. from springdale. I am wanting to have the lapband surgery. I am wanting a doctor that goes above and beyond. I've looked into a few doctors around here and they are just so expensive when it comes to fills. You only get one or so free before they pop you with a $300 fee every time. Can anyone tell me about Dr. Roller's plan? Approx. how many times do you have to see him before you can have surg, what are his requirements, how hard is it to get in if you are having problems, does anyone know if he does fills under flouroscopy, fill prices, are fills included in the price for X amount of time, etc....Sorry so many questions, but like I said, it's quite a drive and I'm trying to figure out if I want to attempt a seminar or if it's not what I'm looking for at all. I'm getting so frustrated just trying to pick a doctor I'm about ready to throw in the towel on the whole surgery until I have regrouped my thoughts. Anyway, thanks for your time
Joni
Hi Joni,
I am one of doctor Rollers patinets. I am sorry I don't have a lot of information as far as the lap band goes. I had Ryn with him last Nov. I can give give you the number to the clinic if you would like to call.
I can tell you that he and his staff are GREAT!. I live in Hackett and it is a little over an hour drive for me and I found him worth the drive. He is very helpful and will answer any questions. If you call after hours you will speak with immediately. If you have any problems he will get you in his office immediatly if you need to be seen.
I only saw him 2 times before I had surgery. Once when I first started the process and than 2 weeks before I had surgery.
I don't know if you are self pay or insurance. But his staff took care of all the insurance for me. They called my insurance company and than told me what all I needed. They sent everything into ins. and than let me know I was approved and got my date.
I would highly recommend him and I am sure any of his other patients would also.
Good luck in your journey.
Feel free to PM if you need any ohter information.

I think it is individual. My son is Roller's patient and he went for the initial consult, then he had to go every couple of weeks because he had to lose weight before he could have wls. But, after he lost the weight that he needed to lose, he went in for the weigh in and they scheduled him and that was it. By the way, Roller is a great doctor and his team fantastic.
I too am one of his patients. I had RN-Y in November. I speak at his seminars sometimes and I do believe they offer something like a package deal. I think you should give them a call, they would be very happy to help you and are the best bunch of people you could hope to meet.
Here is his number and email address:
Office number- 479-757-3174
Seminar Registration: 800-734-2024 (if you are interested in coming)

I hope this helps.
