Hey there, good news on your weigh in!  I'm so proud of you for working so hard to get back on track. You're proving to all of us that long termers can still use their tools even if you've gained some weight back. Ok, low carb is one thing, but please keep in mind you need a minimum of 50 grams of carbs to maintain brain function...something we don't want you to lose   LOL! My newest find for breakfast is a "Carb Balance Tortilla" with some 2% cheese melted on it.  Get the ones that are whole wheat and the fiber content decreases the total number of carbs in the tortilla.  You can also dab some salsa on it for some more flavor. Almonds;  yes, they're high in fat, but it's the good kind of fat that we need. 22 almonds are one serving...very high crunch factor too.  Other nuts are good, but almonds are the best when it comes to the calorie/nutritional ratio. Avocados;  again, high in good fat, but also one of the best foods out there for calories/nutrients.  Cheese;  get the 2% kind. A couple of slices with a half of apple is a great snack Turkey pepperoni;  70 cals for 17 pieces. Tastes just as good as regular pepperoni, but it's low fat and high protein. Milk;  one ounce of milk= 1 gram protein.  Calorie Countdown Milk has the carbs reduced in processing....still the same amount of protein, less to no carbs (can't remember which) I'll keep thinking and see if I can come up with some more suggestions. My brain is fried right now from being in a class all day and using it.  Take care, and keep up the good work! Hugs

Susan
