Went and visited two of our Losers
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you all know I went to visit Mary (darknluv) on Thursday evening at Baptist. She was finally able to go home that evening after a rough time. After the EGD she was able to keep liquids down, but not food. Some nurse had put on her instruction board (the one on the wall) for her to have 2 oz of food at a meal. Well, when your pouch only holds 1 oz, of course the other oz doesn't have anywhere to go but back up!
Once we got that figured out she was right as rain and on her way home. Hope someone gets chewed out for THAT blunder.
Then I saw Ann at St Vincents. What a sweet lady! She was doing so very well, her color was great and she was up walking and doing fine. Just as I was about to leave her husband and son came. Her daughter had stayed with her so I was able to meet most of her family. I'm sure she'll do well with such good support at home.
OK, there's my Angel report. Everyone take care....get in your water, vitamins and protein, and don't forget to get out and enjoy the sunshine today!
