Ok, the question of the day has rested this week, due to the fact that I have not felt well, and most days dont even check in here until 2 or 3 pm.  So lets have fun with this one.  Everyone should respond, we are here to have fun, besides, its the weekend!!!  So come on out and play. What is one thing that you enjoy doing that no one would ever think you would enjoy?? Mine is spending time in the wild hog business w/my husband and father in law.  We trap and raise and sell wild russian hogs!!!  I love it, the babies are so cute, and the big ones are just fun to watch and see how they act.  That is, provided they dont come after me wiff their big ole toofies!!!  Going today to sell 17 babies and 3 big ones!!!  I like it, is fun to get out and play in the stuff. So, what do YOU like to do? Hugs and hogs, Rhonda D.

Well, I certainly feel boring after reading about YOUR fun!  Russian hogs?  That would be interesting and baby animals are precious.  I love water!  I love to go boating, swimming, and I used to love to water ski.  Something about being on or at a lake or the ocean really makes me happy.  Oh and I also LOVE green depression glass.

Hmm, this is a tough one, I am really going to have to think about this one before I answer.  I like to do all sorts of things and anyone who knows me pretty much knows what I like to do.  But I like to do Blackwork needlework.  It is a type of needlework that was brought to England in the early 1500's when Catharine of Aragon came from Spain to marry the future king Arthur (Henry VIII's older brother, who died within a few months of marrying her, and Henry VIII married her, he had a big crush on her and fell in love with her the day he met her at his brothers and hers marriage). Instead of stitching X's like in cross-stitch, Blackwork uses backstitches (straight line stitches) to make its designs and is most often done with black thread on white fabric.  To me it is much easier than counting little X's and it is much prettier.   Those who can do it real well can do whats called Reversable Blackwork, which is where the design is the same on the front and back of the fabric.  I'm not that good yet. You can do a google search and find all kinds of information on it, as well as pictures in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London of portraits of people (including Catharine and Henry) and you can see on their clothes the blackwork stitching, usually on the cuffs and collars. It became very popular in England with Henry daughter Elizabeth became queen, she had most of her clothes stitched with blackwork designs somewhere on them, and just like today, all the young ladies of that time just had to have their shirts and dresses stitched to.  - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- EDITED TO ADD:  I put a pic up on my profile, if anyone wants to see.

I TOTALLY enjoy shooting skeet. We set up in our back field and shoot boxes and boxes of shells. We have a shooting range out there and we even have lights set up in case we want to shoot at night! I also enjoy riding 4 wheelers and getting muddy! Surprise I like to get dirty! Go ahead and laugh......I drive the tractor some too! I try not to get my nails dirty but...A girl's gotta do whatta girls gotta do!
I asked my hubby what he thought I should say and his response was "That's easy, Without a doubt, I think you should say how much you like to mow!" I have 7 acres I mow at least once a week. Nothing like a glass of ice tea as I admire the end result of my efforts! (With my Farmers tan)
Great question Rhonda D
Huggs,

My family loves to go 4 wheeler riding, the mudier the better... we also love to go camping, and I mean primitive camping, no facilities just woods and a campfire. We do take a pop up camper now that we have gotten a little older the tent is not nearly as comfortable as it was 20 years ago! I have a very high stress job and camping is the best stress reliever I have found, when I am in the woods I dont worry about anything! Mary

Rhonda T...I love to mow too!  My dad has 3.5 acres just around the corner from us and in the summer time I love to go over there and mow the yard for him...I do my best thinking ridin around on the mower, and I get to work on my tan too! I'm also a NASCAR junkie and I love to make novelty cakes, mostly for my kids birthdays.  I'm doing my brother's groom's cake for his wedding in August...he wants a Boston Red Sox cake, wish me luck!

What is one thing that you enjoy doing that no one would ever think you would enjoy??
Instead of just listing some of the things I enjoy, I'm going to be specific and tell you what I enjoy that "no one would ever think" I'd enjoy.   I like playing online games - specifically sudoku and halo.  I usually play halo for about 30 minutes or so once every 2 weeks or so, but I play at least 1 game of sudoku every day.  I play on the evil level & usually quit 2 - 3 times (or restart****il I get a puzzle I think I can beat.  LOL!  It usually only takes me 10 minutes to beat the evil level now and it makes me feel smarter to win.  hehehehe If anyone else likes sudoku, you can play too via http://www.websudoku.com/ anytime.  It is a fill-in game and totally free.

Karaoke!  Me and my wife are karaoke pros.  We go on the average at least once a week.  I sit at my computer sometimes, and bring up a song on youtube and turn on my karaoke machine and sing away.  I even have a small repitoire of country songs that I do.  That really surprises folks to see the big black guy sing country songs.  LOL...
