Whatcha Eating....Tuesday Edition??
Hi everyone! Such a better morning here than yesterday!! No sun yet but at least its not rainy! Let's see what we are having today.....
Breakfast- whole wheat toast with peanut butter
Lunch- small slice of sausage pizza (sinful but sooooo good and I haven't had it in a LONG time!!)
Snack- popcorn....probably
Dinner- leftover ham and scalloped potatoes

AM SHAKE: chocolate protein powder with 15oz water
BREAKFAST: 1 packet Maple & Brown Sugar oatmeal (the 50% less sugar Quaker brand)
LUNCH: A few baked chicken tenders with some light ranch dressing (I'm a dipper, haha)
DINNER: Homemade Chicken and Dumplings (I am eating mainly the chicken, as I fear the dumplings will feel my pouch up quickly, as most pastas and breads seem to do) I have added a little Lemon Pepper seasonings to my bowl.
SNACK: Beef Jerky
PM SHAKE: (HAVE NOT HAD THIS YET, STILL TO EARLY)
LIQUIDS: Orange Juice, Tea, Water

Hey Evelyn,
Glad to see you posting again. Looks like a good day for you. I've been wanting chicken and dumplings but am afraid the dumplings would be the death of me. I could NOT eat one.....one would just lead to two, then three. All over the course of a few hours, certainly not at one meal...LOL

a pro shake at 530 am
oatmeal at 730
steak tips with a few bites of peppers and a few bites of baked sweet potato.......at 12 noon
i know I should not have had that but I have been in Memphis at the suregons....kinda screwed up my sack lunhes.
i will have protein shakes before and after my workout. not sure about dinner....what ever GYM NATZI tells me I can have.
strange, I call him gym natzi and he calls me cupcake......must be a love hate relationship

I don't think there was anything wrong with your lunch. Sweet potatoes are high in fiber and potassium....something you need now that your working out so much.
I want you to know how proud I am of you and all your efforts to take control of your weight again. You've struggled so much since we met here and now it seems you have really turned a corner! Congrats on the decision to take the classes to get certified. What you learn will be so valuable to all of us here.

BREAKFAST - medium egg & 1/2 turkey sausage patty
2 x 16.9 ounces water
2 SF popsicles
LUNCH - pintos & cheese w/ hot sauce
20 ounce protein smoothie
SUPPER - chicken soft taco w/ no tortilla & no cheese w/ hot sauce
16 ounces skim milk & 2 tbsp SF chocolate syrup
SNACK - apple slices & 2 tbsp peanut butter
4 ounces water
Calories: 1061 ----- I'm over today again. I need to watch that 1000 per day. I worry that I'm not strict enough with it.
Fat grams: 29.35
Net Carbs: 88.75
Protein: 97.45
Fluid Ounces: 65.10
AHemmm, So, you went over by a lousy 61 calories. If you had 12 oz of milk it probably would have put you under. I didn't see your totals for the last few days, but have you been under 1000 this week? Average it out.. I know it's hard to feel you can relax a bit, but please don't be too hard on yourself. If you go over one day, then scale back the next. That's how we're going to have to think now. It's all a learning process.

Way to work: whole milk latte
Snack: Muscle milk
Lunch: 1/2 turkey sandwich w/ mixed fruit
Snack: Easy mac and cheese
Dinner: Pot roast, 1 red potato, carrots
Snack: 1/2 apple 11 almonds
