Ok let's get this thread started on this drizzly Monday morning!  Breakfast- nothing yet but I think I will run down to the cafeteria and get a piece of wheat toast. I have some peanut butter in the room so I might spread some of that on for extra protein.

Lunch- grilled chicken breast

Snack- peanuts or almonds (will decided later) and cheese cubes Dinner- ham and scalloped potatoes What are you having today?? Don't be shy!!!  Karen

Here's my damage for today: WAKE UP:  Muscle Milk Light--chocolate mint (8.5oz) BREAKFAST:  2 turkey sausage links and 3/4 cup hashbrowns LUNCH:  1 cup homemade chili with 3/4 Tbsp. light sour cream SNACK:  Protein bar--snickers peanut butter DINNER:  3.5oz. lean steak strips w/onion & bell peppers, 1/2 cup whole grain brown & wild rice SNACK:  1 container Weigh****chers yogurt--strawberry banana BEFORE BED:  Protein bar--Atkins Advantage Caramel Nouget TOTALS: CAL:  1027   FAT:  31   CARBS:  114   PROTEIN:  91   FLUIDS:  86oz.

I don't normally have two protein bars in one day, but I'm trying something different with my eating routine.  I'm still having blurred vision/dizziness upon standing...my doc agrees with me that I am not dehydrated.  She told me to change up my eating...she thinks I'm having a carb balance issue.  So today midday I had protein and tonight I'll have protein before bed...last night I had a protein bar before bed and I didn't have any problems this morning with vision or dizziness and I haven't had any problems today.  If it works, then I'll use something else for my protein instead of the bars...they are just handy right now while I experiment.  I didn't want to mislead anyone into thinking its ok to have 2 protein bars every day instead of "regular" meals...I don't think that would be a good habit because they are a little high in fat and sugars.  I hope that made sense!
