Ok guys and gals....we're slipping on this one....only three posts yesterday! Let's do much better today!!! Matter of fact, I'm issuing a challenge to everyone on this site........POST TODAY!!! Breakfast- sausage and whole wheat toast with cream cheese Lunch- soft taco (probably won't eat much of the tortilla though) Dinner- 1/2 sandwich and a bite or two of peach cobbler...( not my usual but we have parent/teacher conferences tonight until 8:00 so the school is providing dinner for us....not too many HEALTHY options) Snack- maybe some popcorn or almonds Have a great day and let us know what you are having today!!   Karen

Hey guys, I have been lax on this one, I admit. Please dont beat me, just say, yeah, she forgot again.  I usually do this at night after the day is complete, but I'll put what I've had so far and then try to remember to edit and add if it changes. Wake up--20 oz coffee Breakfast--2 medium pan fried eggs w/no stick spray and 3 oz pure ham Later--Rte. 44 U/S tea Snack--S/F popscicle Lunch--apple slices More u/s tea im sure, as Im going to be cleaning house w/a fury!! Supper--Some grilled meat, not sure what, Sisters bday is today and they are grilling, and prolly a spoon of potato salad Will have a protein shake sometime to get my protein up and I know lots of tea and crystal lite. Hey Rhonda! I'm glad you posted. Don't worry, sometimes I forget to post the thread until late! Sometimes we have crazy days like that I guess! Thanks for posting tho!! Have a great day!! I'm sure I will be on here checking the boards every few minutes. I have parent/teacher conferences at school until 8:00 tonight and there is a big "down" time in between parents! UGH!!! I want it over with soon!!! LOL!!   Karen

Breakfast: s/f latee 2 cups black coffee
Lunch: 1 slice ham, 1 slice mont/jack cheese on 1 slice wheat bread w/ muctard (only ate 1/2)
nectar fuzzy navel, 14 oz u/s tea, lite s/f frap
Dinner: Probably salad dry, few bites of steak
couple glasses of u/s tea and maybe fuzzy navel
1 protein bullet This should bring my protein up to over 100gr and liquid to over 100oz. Somedays it is liquid and protein and some days it's calories, never balanced! I am a work in progress!

I guess I'm next Rhonda!  Here's my damage for today, not too bad but not great either:   Breakfast:  1 packet weight control oatmeal Snack:  Muscle Milk Light--chocolate mint (YUMMY!)

Lunch: 1oz. ham jerky, 1 single serving bag of protein chips

Snack: Weigh****chers yogurt--boston cream pie Dinner: 1 cup homemade chili Snack: 1 small orange Before bed:  8oz. calorie countdown chocolate milk TOTALS: CAL:  1015   FAT: 25    CARBS:  120   PROTEIN:  91   FLUIDS: 84oz.

Pretty balanced for today, but my calories are still too low!

I haven't had surgery yet but I'll go ahead and try this one: breakfast:  2 large cups coffee and 1 string cheese lunch:  smart ones frozen dinner snack:  string cheese (can you tell I love cheese?) dinner:  2 bowls homemade vegetable soup at least 96 ounces of u/s tea/crystal ligh****er

Oh my gosh Mary Lou.....I LOVE CHEESE TOO! I always ate it before surgery but ever since I have had this surgery, I seem to crave it! I guess thats ok because its has lots of protein. The only down side is the calories but as long as I count them in my daily total it seems to work! I love the cheese cubes made by Kraft. Also, the Wal-Mart brand ones are good too!  Anyway, I'm glad to see that you posted. I wish a lot more of the pre-surgery people would post. It sure makes things a lot easier when you start posting and being accountable for what you eat before surgery. I sure wish that I would have started posting on this thread before I had surgery. Anyway, I rambling again so I'll wrap this up for now!! Take care and keep posting!!   Karen

SOLID MEAL 1 - medium egg & 1/2 turkey sausage patty 20 ounces protein 16.9 ounces water SOLID MEAL 2 - apple slices & 2 tbsp peanut butter 16.9 ounces water SOLD MEAL 3 - chicken & lettuce w/ hot sauce 5 ounces water 10 ounces skim milk SNACK - apple slices & 2 tbsp sunflower seeds 16 ounces skim milk & 2 tbsp SF chocolate syrup
