OFFICIALLY BANDED

 Today is THE day!  I had my surgery, it went very well.  I slept most of early afternoon.  I'm sore but not in pain but my gf told me its only because I have pain meds still in me...The pre-op nurse, Patty, and post-op nurse, Krissy, were extremely good to me.  I got up & started walking right away.  

I've eaten ice chips all day because my mouth and throat has been (and still is) very dry .  Tonight my BFF made chicken & dumplings for her and my son for dinner...I had about an ounce of the broth & it was nice and warm.

Dr. Luttrell called me tonight around 7pm; I'm very impressed that 'he' called because usually from my experience it's someone on his staff that calls to check on you...  That was a nice touch to actually hear from the doctor himself!  

Well, I hope tomorrow will be this good!

Congrats!!! I too am using Dr. Luttrell.... I'm just not finding many that are on here, that's what I want to compare is weight loss under his care.....l am scheduled for 1 week from today and I am excited and nervous!!!!  Please keep us posted...... How long did your surgery take?  How long were you there?  How long in recovery?

GREAT!!!!  I am glad you are doing so well.  I have heard good things about Dr. Luttrell and Dr. Baker.  I wonder which one would be cheaper if you are self pay???

I hope that you continue to do so well.  Did they tell you about how long you would have to be off of work?
