MY STAY IN THE HOSPITAL ON THE OTHER HAND ...LETS JUST PUT IT LIKE THIS...IF YOUR IN PAIN YOU BETTER HAVE SPECIAL FORSITE OR SOMETHING TO LET YOU KNOW WHEN IT'S COMING BECAUSE THEN MAYBE AND HOUR EARLY YOU CAN ORDER YOUR PAIN PILL SO THAT BY THE TIME THEY FINALLY MAKE IT TO YOUR ROOM....YOU WANT BE IN SO MUCH PAIN. I SAW THE REV. AND HE OPEN HIS MOUTH AND ASKED ME AND MY ROOMATE WHAT TYPE OF SURGERY WE HAD....LIKE U ALREADY GUESSED I ANSWERED BUT MADE HIM FEEL INCH HIGH....BECAUSE I DID REMIND HIM HE SUPPOSE TO BE DOING THE LORDS WORK NOT JUDGING...IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN U HAVE NO RIE TO JUDGE ANYONE....IF THATS 2HARD MAYBE YOU CHOOSE THE WRONG PROFESSION. HE SENT ME TULIPS LATER THAT DAY.

WELL AFTER FIVE DAYS WITH THAT HORRIABLE BED(THEY SHOULD HAVE JUST PUT ME ON THE FLOOR) I WAS SO HAPPY 2 SLEEP IN MY OWN BED.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT LIKE OTHERS IM SIP SIP SIPPING AND WALKING MY TAIL OFF....I'M SO BLESSED TO HHSVE AND EXTENDED FAMILY SUCH AS YOURSELF AND MY PARENTS THE REST CAN BITE ME......LOL!

I love me no matter what....and this surgery will only enhance my inner and outter beauty.

Cause you know I put the FAB in FABULOUS!!!!!

Mary, you certainly started my day with a good laugh. I'm so proud of you for speaking up to the Rev.  Maybe now he'll do the work he's supposed to be doing!! Glad you're home safe and sound in your own bed. Yes, the "weepies" are very  normal after surgery, lots of meds running through your system and everything is out of whack. So, don't worry, you'll get over that soon enough. I'll send you those samples on Monday. My days have been quite hectic lately. Keep up the good work, and you have my ## if you need to talk. Gentle hugs,

Susan

Glad to hear you are home and doing well!   (On a side note, I was either too drugged to know it or the rev was on vacation when I was in there.  I never got a visit that I recall and it sounds like I would have recalled it or at least been told about it by my family.  He's lucky he didn't say anything to me or I WOULD have gotten out of that bed or had to have been sedated or something.  I really hope they do something about him.)

I know you are so happy to be home :)  My daughter is going to have the RNY this summer and she's investigated the surgery and all aspects.  She said that after this surgery..your body releases a lot of estrogen which will cause mood swings..and it happens for a while..from what I understand.  I understand this can cause a lot of women too..to have that TOM too..maybe this will help you know why you feel so emotional..plus just going thru it all.

I'm so glad you are home and doing well. Congratulations. Bless your heart for giving that rev the old heave ho. He deserved it. Maybe you just changed his whole attitude. Let's hope so. Anyway, hope your recovery is a speedy one. Just hang in there.

So glad you finally made it home!!  And what is up with the Rev. at Baptist, someone else posted about him being judgemental too...he'd better be glad he didn't visit me while I was in there cuz I'd have set him straight too!  It took me all day to come out of anesthesia enough to know where and who I was, so maybe he visited while I was in La La Land?? I was emotional for several days after surgery, but only after I came home, not while I was in the hospital.  Some of it, like Susan said, is just the meds running through your body and the anesthesia will make you weepy too...just a side effect of it.  Also, estrogen is stored in our fat cells, so when those fat cells start burning up they release the estrogen and we all know what that means....MOOD SWINGS.  Good news though, it won't last long. Keep sipping and walking, it gets easier every day.  Let us know if you have questions, or just need to vent...keep up the good work, you're now an official LOSER! (and I say that with much love  )
