Ok, so that I don't bug the heck out of their office.... does anyone know what type of band dr Luttrell uses?  I don't want to call and asks, I know they are busy, and don't want to pester.
Also can someone explain what the difference is in the two bands?
Thanks

I have no idea what type of band I have...I asked last week when I went for my fill and the nurse working w/ the fill patients said it was a standard band...and I said well is it 4cc or 10cc or what. She said it was 10cc. That's all I know about it.

Hey, I dont what band Dr. Luttrell uses, but I can tell you about Dr. Roller in Springdale.  Supposedly, there are now 2 different band makers out there.  The way Dr. Roller explained it to me, it is no different than ford vs. chevy.  They both work just the same.  But...the "lap band"  now has 2 different types of bands that have been out since last summer, called the AP bands, which hold 10 to 14cc, which is what Dr. Roller uses.  They are supposed to be quite a bit different and better than the older bands that held 4cc.  Hope this helps. Life is not the way it's supposed to be.  It's the way it is.  The way you cope with it...  is what makes the difference."
