Gas Issues
Ok, I read alot about what to expect w/ WLS but I really don't know if I am prepared for this......I read about people having gas after surgery, but I assumed that was from the effects of them putting air in your tummy and that it would pass but OMG..............I have so much gas these days, it's awful. I am 4 weeks post-op so I would think that this is not still from surgery. So, I have to be very careful when I'm up walking around at work or else poot poot I will go. What's up w/ that??

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but all I can say is, Welcome to WLS!!! If I was not tooting I was burping for a long time, and I am sorry to tell you, it smells worse now!!!!
I dont have an explanation, someone better than me might can help you, but welcome is all I can say. I have to be careful, mine seems to hit me at church or out shopping more than any other time, or maybe I just notice it more then. Good luck, and just remember, more room on the outside than in!!!
