Anyone with bcbs of AR???

Hello all!     I am an Okie here with bcbs of Arkansas and wanting wls. Our policy states that they will only pay 5,000 max on wls per calendar year. Now have any of you had this and have any clue what they consider that 5k towards? Is it just surgery or will they pay for other docs towards some of the testing for the surg and not count it towards the 5. Sorry this is so short, but if any of you can make heads or tails of my rushed, frantic msg, pm me and lets talk. I wanted surgery yesterday (as I'm sure most people that have made the wls decision feel) and I just need to start getting my ducks in a row so I can figure out how much I am going to have to come up with or finance on my own. I must have the same policy! With me, they put the 5,000 toward the hospital bill and that was it.

Did they pay at all toward anything else? Like the testing, etc? Cool, glad to know someone else has got the surg with this insurance. Did it take you long to get approved? Can I ask you approx how much you had to pay on your own? Thanks for the reply!
