Post op-- lap band

Ok, I got a question about post op pain.  Are you able to take anything for pain?  I didn't know if youwould be allowed to take liquid or chewable pain relievers or not

I was sent home with a prescription of liquid Lorset (not sure I spelled that right) and after 2 days, switched to liquid tylenol. I was told to use tylenol instead of advil.
